- Sit on the edge of a chair with hands in front of your chest and knees bent at 90-degree angle.
- Lift the right leg few inches off the ground and raise up to standing by pushing with through your left heel. Exhale on the way up.
- After a brief pause, push your hips back and squat down, keeping the right leg lifted. Inhale when you lower into a squat.
Tip: to maintain your balance, focus on something several feet in front of you and keep a good posture throughout the movement
