Oven-baked Chicken wings
Ingredients
For Chicken wings:
- 1 pound Chicken wings (about 8 wings)
- 1/4 Yellow onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 tsp Sea salt
- 2 Tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Dried Oregano
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cumin
- 1/3 tsp Turmeric powder (optional)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil (First cold pressed preferred)
For Mediterranean salad:
- 1 medium Tomato, chopped
- 1/2 medium Cucumber, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 medium Green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/4 Yellow onion, chopped
- 3 Tbsp Parsley or cilantro
- 2 Tbsp Lemon juice
- Pinch of Sea salt
- 1/2 Tbsp Extra virgin Olive oil (First cold pressed preferred)
Instructions
- In a large bowl mix lemon juice, olive oil, onion, garlic, salt, and spices. Rinse wings and dry them with paper towels. Transfer to the bowl and rub the chicken with marinade to coat. Cover and place to the refrigerator for at least an hour.
- Heat oven to 425 degrees F. Spread marinated wings in a single layer onto a prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes. Then turn them over and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, until wings are brown and crispy.
- Meanwhile chop all the vegetables for a salad and mix them in a large bowl. Stir in lemon juice, salt, and olive oil.
