1. Holding a dumbbell in each hand, position your feet directly under the hips. Your back should be straight and knees slightly bent throughout the exercise.
  2. Begin to inhale and keeping the weight close to your shins, drive your hips back to lower your torso until you feel the stretch in your hamstrings.
  3. After a brief pause extend your hips and pull your body back up, while contracting your glutes, hamstrings and core. Exhale on the way up.
