Chocolate Dipped Strawberries
Ingredients
- 1 cup Fresh whole strawberries (about 12 medium berries)
- 2 ounce (56g) Organic dark chocolate bar, chopped
- 1/3 cup Crushed raw almonds, soaked in water
- 2 Tbsp Unsweetened coconut flakes
Instructions
- Fill a saucepan with a couple inches of water and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Remove from heat.
- Place a glass or stainless steel bowl with chocolate over the pot. Melt the chocolate, stirring until smooth.
- Holding the strawberry by the stem, dip each one into the chocolate; allow excess to drip off into the saucepan. Then roll half of them in almonds and another half in coconut flakes.
- Place berries on waxed paper and let them set at the room temperature.
